Synopsis

The sun is fading. Not in some distant apocalyptic future, but now—one percent dimmer each month. Eli Carver, a 22-year-old solar engineer, watches his Arizona town of Mercy Wells transform from a place of desperate hope into a fortress of rationed light. He's building the last working solar array while the town council hoards resources and turns neighbor against neighbor. Then Maya arrives—a climatologist with burn scars and classified documents proving the dimming isn't natural. She knows who caused it, and they're coming to Mercy Wells to finish what they started. As temperatures drop and crops fail, Eli must decide: protect the fragile community he's sworn to save, or trust the outsider who might be their only chance at survival.
